ST. STEPHEN -- The Stearns County Sheriff's office has identified the victim of a farm accident around 6 p.m. Friday as Mary Ann Fiedler, 52, of rural St. Joseph.
According to the sheriff's office, Fiedler was run over by a loaded gravity box wagon as she was assisting with unhooking the wagon from a tractor to be re-hooked to a truck. The wagon began to roll away and she attempted to stop it and was run over.
She was dead at the scene, which was in St. Wendel Township, three miles south of St. Stephen. The accident remains under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff's Office. The St. Stephen Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance also responded to the scene.
