STARBUCK -- A juvenile suspect in a high-speed chase early Saturday was apprehended late Saturday morning in Douglas County.
In a news release, Starbuck Police Chief Mitch Johnsrud thanked those who provided information to authorities.
The name and age of the juvenile male was not released.
Earlier Saturday, Johnsrud had issued a news release describing the chase that began at about 3:30 a.m. in Starbuck. The suspect was allegedly seen driving a stolen 2003 blue Chevrolet Silverado traveling south on State Highway 29. The pursuit continued on county roads to Morris and U.S. Highway 59. \
The driver of the truck rammed the Silverado into a Stevens County squad car when authorities attempted to stop the vehicle and then drove off through corn fields.

Law enforcement agencies involved in the pursuit included Gleenwood Police, Stevens County and Grant Counties sheriff's departments.
