Update: Suspects detained in BB gun shooting in Willmar


WILLMAR - Four juvenile suspects were detained following a drive-by shooting with a BB gun in Willmar Sunday evening.

The Willmar Police Department said the incident was reported at 7:16 p.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of Second Avenue Northwest. The shot was fired at the window of a parked vehicle, according to police.

Officers located the suspect vehicle fleeing the scene and stopped it in the area of 15th Avenue Southwest and 22nd Street Southwest. Four juvenile male suspects were detained by police and a BB handgun believed to have been used in the incident was recovered.


The incident remains under investigation, police said.
