FREEPORT -- The victim in a fatal house fire early Tuesday morning in Freeport has been identified as Cecilia Chevalier-Larson, 50, of Freeport.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office said Chevalier-Larson was found dead in the home in downtown Freeport after the Freeport Fire Department was called to the scene at 3:35 a.m.

Two other individuals who were in the house -- Dawn Belgrade, 28 and Dusty Littledog, 36, both of Freeport -- were able to get out of the house and were treated for smoke inhalation by Melrose Ambulance personnel.

According to the sheriff's office the house, which is located at 203 First Ave. South, was fully engulfed in flames when the Freeport Fire Department arrived.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office and an autopsy is being conducted to determine how Chevalier-Larson died.
