Update 6 p.m. OLIVIA - Three were injured, one reportedly seriously injured, in an accident Monday afternoon west of Olivia.
Dee A. Lothert, 59, of Renville was reportedly traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 71 when her Dodge Ram pickup truck crossed the center line, struck a Toyota Sienna traveling eastbound, rolled over and came to rest on its roof, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The Sienna driven by Samoane G. Wagner, 25, of Stewart.
Wagner and her passenger, Arland C. Johnson, 81, of Hector, were transported to Olivia Hospital for what were described as minor injuries.
Lothert was reportedly unconscious after the crash and transported to Olivia Hospital for serious injuries. A family member reports she has been transferred to North Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis.
Responding to the accident were the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, Olivia Police Department, North Memorial Ambulance, Olivia Ambulance and Olivia Fire and Rescue.
