Utility work closes Willmar street Wednesday, Thursday

WILLMAR - Utility improvements related to the new Elmquist Jewelers location will require that 28th Avenue Southeast be closed Wednesday and Thursday from 150 feet east of First Street South in Willmar to 150 feet west of Fifth Street Southeast, according to the city of Willmar Public Works Department.
No traffic will be allowed on the road and drivers will need to find alternate routes, the city said in a news release. City officials estimate that the road will reopen around 6 p.m. Thursday.
