Johanna Van Gilst and Scott Kaiser, both of Ephrata, Wash., are engaged to be married today in Atwater.
Van Gilst is the daughter of Robert and Shirley Van Gilst of East Wenatchee, Wash.
She graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in human services. She is employed as a chemical dependency professional by Alcohol Drug Dependency Services.
Kaiser is the son of Harold and Ina Kaiser of Lake Lillian.
He graduated from St. Cloud Technical College with an emphasis in industrial and commercial electrical installation. He is employed as a journeyman electrician by Local Union 343.
