RENVILLE -- Verna Fae Zima, 87, of Renville died Friday at the RenVilla Nursing Home in Renville.
The service and burial will be private. Arrangements are with Dirks-Blem Funeral Service, Renville.
She was born Jan. 8, 1919, in Horton, Kan., to Henry and Alice (Ford) Niehaus. After graduation from Whiting High School, she attended cosmetology school in St. Joseph, Mo.

She married Roy Zima on March 5, 1944. In 1949, they moved to Renville, where they farmed until their retirement in 1980. She worked at CDC in Redwood Falls.
She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband; daughter: Lynn (and Joe) Bartlett of Coon Rapids; one granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, one brother and one sister.
