SACRED HEART -- Vernon Leroy Kull, 86, of Sacred Heart died Sunday at the Golden Living Center in Olivia.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Sacred Heart.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church and for one hour prior to the service Thursday at the chuch. Arrangements with Dirks-Blem Funeral Service in Sacred Heart
He was born Oct. 8, 1920, in Minneapolis to Carl and Hannah (Hagen) Kull. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945.

He married LaVerne Dikken on June 17, 1948, in Renville. He worked as a custom baler until 1957, later working at both Romness and Schwinghammer garages in Sacred Heart. In the mid 1960s he bought Kull's Garage, which he owned and operated until he retired in 1988.
He was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church, later becoming a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, both in Sacred Heart.
He is survived by his wife; children: Larry (and Sherri) Kull of Renton, Wash., Lionel (and Debra) Kull of Rice, Lynn (and Lyn) Kull of Royalton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
