Vesta man injured in ATV collision

A Vesta man was injured after a collision between his ATV and a minivan just north of Vesta.

VESTA — An 18-year-old man suffered injuries around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday after a collision occurred between his ATV and a minivan on the 32000 block of Evergreen Avenue, according to a Redwood County Sheriff’s Office news release.

According to the release, Logan Schreifels, of Vesta, was driving a 1999 Polaris ATV when he collided with Elias Lorenzo, 20, of Walnut Grove, who was traveling north on Evergreen Avenue in a 2005 Buick Terraza near 320th Street north of Vesta.

Vesta First responders and Carris Health Ambulance responded to the scene.

Schreifels was taken to a hospital but which one was not listed on the news release.
