ALEXANDRIA -- The Willmar I VFW baseball team played errorless ball this weekend to win the Alexandria Invite Sunday.
Willmar (16-0) beat Andover 10-1 in the championship game Sunday. In the semifinals Saturday, Willmar pounded Moorhead 11-1.
It is the third tournament win of the season for Willmar.

Willmar scored a run in every inning, including three in the second and four in the fourth.
David Anderson threw a four-hitter for Willmar. He struck out six and walked five, allowing one run in the first inning.
Logan Birkland, Jordan Ray Smith and Travis Hanson had two hits each for Willmar. Hanson scored three runs and stole four bases.

Andover held a 1-0 lead for 3½ innings, then Willmar exploded for all of its 10 runs in the fourth.
Willmar had seven of its 10 hits in the inning. Ben Ruter had two hits to lead the team.
Jordan Ray Smith went the distance, allowing one run on seven hits. He struck out seven and walked one.
