WILLMAR – Two people were robbed at knife-point Monday night in Willmar and shortly afterwards two suspects were arrested.
The incident was reported at 7:29 p.m. in the 400 block of 15th Avenue Southwest where Willmar Police talked to an adult man and woman who said they had been visiting acquaintances in a nearby apartment. When they entered the apartment a male occupant allegedly pulled a knife on them and took their jewelry and other property.
The victims immediately left the apartment and notified law enforcement.
According to the police report, the 31-year-old male suspect was known to the victims and was arrested while exiting the apartment a short time later. He is currently being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail pending charges that may include aggravated robbery, second-degree assault and threats of violence.
According to the news release, he was currently out on bail from a June 21 incident for assaulting two people with a large knife in Willmar.

A 28-year-old female occupant of the apartment was also arrested and is currently being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail pending charges of liability for crimes of another for the three charges of aggravated robbery, second-degree assault and threats of violence.
A search warrant was served on the apartment and the stolen property and a knife was recovered.
