WILLMAR – An accident north of Priam, reported about 10:30 a.m. Monday, resulted in the driver being airlifted from the scene.
A black Chevrolet Suburban swerved off the gravel road (Kandiyohi County Road 116), down an embankment and landed right-side up in a soybean field, recently harvested. Major vehicle damage was sustained to the right-front and left-rear, indicating the vehichle may have flipped.
The Kandiyohi County Sherriff Department, Willmar Ambulance, Kandiyohi County Rescue, Raymond Fire and Life Link III were at the scene.
The accident occurred about one-and-a-quarter mile north of State Highway 23.
