WILLMAR -- Vio Lette Irene Tjernagel, 86, of Willmar died Sunday at Rice Care Center in Willmar.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was born on July 1, 1920, in Randall, Iowa, to Jack and Erma (Hanson) Paggett. She grew up and received her education in rural Ames, Iowa.

She married Christian Paggett on Aug. 26, 1939. They lived in Iowa and moved to Willmar in 1955. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children: Dale (and Sheri) Tjernagel of Willmar, Victoria (and Fredrick) Magaard of California, Peggy Sue Tjernagel of Willmar, Christy (and BreAnn) Tjernagel of California; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Bill Paggett of Willmar and Larry Paggett of South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984; twin sons: Dale and David; two brothers and two sisters.
