CLARA CITY -- Viola Evelyn Reiners, 92, of Clara City died Wednesday at Bethesda Heritage Center in Willmar.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Wing-Bain Funeral home in Clara City and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

She was born Nov. 5, 1913, in Pipestone to Fred and Lottie (Pollock) Binnebose.

She married Johan Reiners on Feb. 28, 1926. They lived on a farm in Lone Tree Township, Chippewa County, for many years. She worked at the Clara City Care Center. They moved into Clara City after they retired.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Clara City and was active in church activities. She also was a member of the homemaker's club.

She is survived by her children: Shirley Freese of Willmar, Dennis (and Carol) Reiners of Cave Creek, Ariz., Sandra (and Larry) Barton of Albuquerque, N.M., Cecil (and Diana) Reiners of Burnsville; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister: Gladys DeGrote of Clara City.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992; three brothers and one sister.
