Viola E. Vold

GLENWOOD - Viola Evelyn Vold, 89, of Glenwood died Friday.
The service will be at 11 a.m. today at Chippewa Falls Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation was held on Sunday evening and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church today.

She was born on April 11, 1917, in Starbuck to John and Synne (Bergon) Hagestuen. She attended school in Starbuck.
She married Harold Vold on March 31, 1939, at Fron Lutheran Church in Starbuck. They farmed near Terrace. She was a member of Chippewa Falls Lutheran Church and the ladies aid and circle.
She is survived by her children: John (and Adeline) Vold of Maple Grove, Sylvia (and Dick) Hauge of Glenwood, Jeanne (and Larry) Helling of Diamondhead, Miss., and Steven (and Susan) Vold of Billings, Mont.; eight grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1973, seven brothers and three sisters.
