BENSON -- Violet Christine Jacobson, 101, of Benson died Monday at Meadow Lane Health Care Center in Benson.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson. Burial will be at the Benson City Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson. Memorials are preferred to Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church.

She was born Nov. 29, 1905, in Pope County to John and Clara (Evenson) Larson. She attended school through the eighth grade.
She married Ornel Johnson. Ornel died in 1940. She married Emil Peterson. Emil died in 1963. She married Edward I. Jacobson. She was a homemaker and also worked in the medical field.
She is survived by her children: Marlys (and Burnett) Pearson of Montevideo, Roger (and Shirley) Johnson of Pharr, Texas, Dennis (and Linda) Johnson of LaPorte, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; daughter: Janice Johnson; four brothers; and two sisters.
