LONGMONT, Colo. -- Violet Eugenia Noehl, 89, of Longmont Colo. died Nov. 7 at Longmont Hospital in Longmont, Colo.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont, Colo.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Monday at the chapel. Memorials are preferred to The Eagle Lady in Homer, Alaska.
She was born April 29, 1918, near Princeton, to Henry and Marie (Huppman) Fiebing. She graduated from South St. Paul High School in 1936.

She married James W. Noehl of Pine Island. She was a longtime proofreader at St. Paul Pioneer Press from 1940 to 1959, and later was a secretary at Concordia College in Moorhead. She lived in New London, Moorhead, Morris, Hancock, St. Paul, and Stevens Point, Wis. Since 1985, she has lived in Longmont, Colo.
She is survived by children: Gary (and Carolyn) of New London, Byron (and Robin) of Windsor, Colo., Brenda of Longmont, Colo.; a granddaughter; two step-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, including one in infancy, and a brother.
