CLARA CITY -- Violette Esther Seiler, 86, of Clara City died Friday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Montevideo. Burial will be at Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. and a prayer service at 5, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

She was born Feb. 23, 1921, in Mandt Township, Chippewa County, to Elmer and Agnes (Bye) Christenson. She attended rural school in District 88 and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1938.
She married Glen Seiler on Sept. 29, 1940. They lived in rural Montevideo before moving to Clara City in 1980.
She was member of Rosewood United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Church in Montevideo. She had been a member of the Havelock ABC Homemaker Club and the Clara City Busy Hoe Garden Club.
She is survived by five children: Gary (and Alice) Seiler of Alexandria, Joan (and Erich) Utecht of St. Paul, Ann (and Jerry) Robertson of Montevideo, Judy (and Brian) VanHorn of Alexandria, Bradley Seiler of Clara City; a son-in-law: Jim Harvey of Willmar; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Laura McDonald of Laguana Woods, Calif., Ethel Johnson of Montevideo, and Vivian Schwagerl of Simi Valley, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2004; a daughter: Vicki Harvey; two brothers; and three sisters.
