CLARKFIELD -- Virgil G. Jensen, 85, of Clarkfield died Friday at Clarkfield Care Center.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Clarkfield Care Center. Burial will be in the Clarkfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the care center. Arrangements are by Lynner Funeral Home of Clarkfield.
He was born Oct. 10, 1921, in Rozet, Wyo., to George and Clara (Thompson) Jensen. He attended school in Iowa. In 1941, they moved to a farm two miles east of Clarkfield.

He served in the United States Army Air Force from 1942 to 1946. He returned to the family farm to work and later worked with other farmers. He helped take care of his brother Fred. He was in the VA Hospital and then entered the Clarkfield Care Center in 1995.
He is survived by his brothers: Fred of Clarkfield, Alfred (and Donna) of International Falls; sisters: Erma Olson of Everette, Wash., and Esther (and Curtis) Hanson of Montevideo.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
