BENSON -- Virginia Joy Egerstrom, 84, of Benson, died Saturday at the Swift County-Benson Hospital.
The service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Lutheran Church in Murdock. Burial will be in the church cemetary.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was born on Sept. 2, 1921, in Wood Lake to Walter and Ingrid (Anfinson) Gensler. She graduated from the Benson High School in 1939.
She married Lester Egerstrom on Nov. 28, 1941, at the First Baptist Church in Benson.
She lived and raised her family in Murdock. In 1982, she moved to Benson and lived most recently in Westwood Manor.
She served on the Swift County Historical Society board for six years, acting as president from 1987-1988.
She volunteered at Prairie Five in Benson. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Murdock and taught Bible study.
She also attended First Evangelical Free Church in Benson.
She is survived by her three daughters: Kay (and Patrick) Barrett of Coon Rapids, Nancy (and Gary) Geiger of Willmar, and Pamela (and Greg) Johnson of Redwood Falls; a son.: the Rev. Reed (and Joan) Egerstrom of Benson; a brother: Wayne "Bud" (and Gretchen) Gensler of Rosemount; a sister: Shirley (and Patrick) Maher of Benson; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; and a sister.
