MONTEVIDEO -- Vivian Ruth Holzheimer, 77, of Montevideo died Friday at the Westwood Elderly Home in Granite Falls.
The service will at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Holloway.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Montevideo and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was born March 20, 1931, to Alfred and Dora (Mecklenburg) Schlieman in Fairfield Township, Swift County. She attended Fairfield Township District 46 country school.

She married Robert Holzheimer on Sept. 25 1949. They lived in Holloway for many years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Holloway and the church's ladies aid and was a member of the homemaker's club. After they moved to Montevideo, she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, participating in Mary Circle and teaching Sunday school.
She worked at Fingerhut Company in Benson and Hilma Olson Grocery in Holloway. In Montevideo she worked for the Ben Franklin Store, Standard Lumber Company and eventually retired from Innovex.
She is survived by her husband; children Wanda (and Ed) Ingraham of Colorado Springs, Colo., David (and Becky) Holzheimer, Robert Holzheimer Jr., Keith ( and Shelly) Holzheimer, Sheldon (and Sandy) Holzheimer, Bev (and Tom) Wanke, all of Montevideo, and Joanne (and Mike) Noyes of Sturgis, S.D.; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three sisters, Winifred Erdman of Holloway, Eileen (and Milton) Hoidal of Montevideo, and Helen (and Bernard) Hoidal of Montevideo.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren and two sisters.
