WILLMAR -- Ethan Vogt's no-hitter highlighted the Ridgewater Warriors' sweep of Minnesota West in a concise doubleheader at Bill Taunton Stadium Friday afternoon.
The twin 10-0 wins -- both in five innings -- required only three hours, including 20 minutes between games.
Ryan Krause threw a three-hitter in the opener. Vogt followed with his first no-hitter since eighth grade. The Minnesota Gophers' recruit walked two and fanned five.
Ridgewater improves to 3-1 in the Minnesota Community College Conference's Southern Division and 17-7 overall.

Vogt was happy to get back on the mound only two days after blowing a save against Dakota County in Burnsville.
"It's nice to come back and pitch the way I know I can," said Vogt, an All-America wrestler twice here. "I was kind of struggling to locate my pitches on Wednesday. I tweaked my delivery after that and today I was hitting the spots."
Matt Merten, a freshman from St. Cloud Tech, caught the no-hitter and late substitution Drew Thompson made a nice play at first base in the fifth inning to preserve the no-hitter.
Steve Wetterling singled and homered and Steve Boldt, Jacolby Anderson and Travis Fluck belted consecutive RBI doubles in a six-run third.
Vogt said he committed on Thursday night to pitch for Thunder Bay, Ont., of the Northwoods League for a second summer. Last season the 6-4, 210-pound Sauk Centre native was 7-0 with a 1.96 ERA for the Border Cats, who won the league's overall title.
