OLIVIA -- Behind 15 ace blocks and a balanced offensive attack, BOLD outlasted former Two Twelve Conference rival Renville County West 25-19, 25-19, 20-25, 20-25, 15-11 in a non-conference match Monday.
Leah Miller had five ace blocks and Carrie Hebrink followed with four as the Warriors (8-6) snapped RCW's 10-match winning streak.
"It was definitely at the net," said BOLD coach Paula Dunn on how her team got the win. "Our passing was also quite a bit better than it has been in a long time. It was a total team effort."
Miller also pounded down a team-high 17 kills with Laura Wallenta supplying 13 more in 25 attacks.
Megan Groen made only four hitting errors in 47 attempts en route to piling up a match-high 23 kills for the Jaguars (14-4). Kortney Mulder amassed 13 kills and five ace blocks and Sally Smith chalked up 41 assists.
