RENVILLE -- With the help of Megan Groen's 17 kills, Renville County West moved into a tie for first place in the Camden North Conference by upending Canby 25-17, 25-19, 22-25, 25-17 Tuesday.
The Jaguars (15-5) improved to 4-1 in the loop, the same mark as idle MACCRAY (11-6). Both teams have only one conference match remaining with MACCRAY hosting KMS (3-2) on Monday and RCW traveling to Prinsburg next Tuesday to play CMCS (3-2).
Megan Erickson and Alyssa Link had nine kills apiece while Erickson also notched four ace blocks for RCW, which was directed by Sally Smith's 35 assists.
