CLARA CITY -- It was tight all the way but the MACCRAY Wolverines beat Redwood Valley in a non-conference volleyball match on Monday 25-22, 23-25, 25-18, 25-22.
The Cardinals fell to 4-5-1.
Ashley Beseman took command at the net for the Wolverines. She amassed 20 kills in 46 attempts and also gained four ace blocks.
Brandi Bodin lead the defense with 24 digs and Danelle Loomis put up 26 assists.
Redwood Valley's Kelsey Guetter had five ace blocks and teammate Bailey Koster delivered on 12 kills in 39 attempts.
