GROVE CITY -- Montevideo's all-around game allowed the Thunder Hawks to post a 25-17, 25-14, 25-14 sweep over West Central South Conference rival Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Tuesday and stay unbeaten.
Taylor Skoglund had six kills and Karie Blommel added five to pace the Thunder Hawks' offense. Whitney Johnson served a match-high three aces while Skoglund and Amanda Boike both had four ace blocks for Montevideo (2-0, 3-0).
Bethany Nelson led the Falcons (0-2, 0-2) with six kills in 21 errorless attacks.
