SPRINGFIELD -- Bailey Koster and Sam Serbus each put down 10 kills to lead Redwood Valley to 25-15, 25-23, 25-14 non-conference sweep of Springfield in the Cardinals' season opener on Friday.
Liz Smith chalked up 28 assists and Marissa Panitzke nailed down ace serves and five kills. Koster and Abby MacHolda aced two blocks each for the Cardinals.
