WILLMAR -- The Kandiyohi County Area Family YMCA needs volunteers by Monday for its Ninth Annual New Year's Eve Family Celebration.
Split between Willmar Senior High School and the Willmar Civic Center, the YMCA needs more volunteers to organize and run the numerous activities -- such as Bingo, inflatable games, and carnival games -- from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Volunteers are split up between three shifts in the allotted time, and more volunteers are needed for the 4:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. shift at both sites.
The cost for attendance at either site is $2 per person or $10 for a family. Ice skating at the civic center will be open from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Following the end of the indoor activities, the Grand Finale Fireworks show will start at 9:30 p.m. at the high school.
