HECTOR -- Walter Russell Harvey, 94, of Hector died Thursday at his home.
The service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Hughes Funeral Home in Hector. Burial will be in Pilot Mound, Iowa.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

He was born March 23, 1912, in Des Moines, Iowa, to William and Cora (Hooper) Harvey. He grew up and attended school in Pilot Mound, Iowa. He drove bus in Minneapolis and farmed near Aitkin.
He married Edna Edwards on Jan. 15, 1983, in Hector. He worked with the senior dining program in Hector for 16 years.
He is survived by his wife; sons: Richard, David and Daniel; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and one sister: Myrtle Dawson in Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois; an infant son; and nine siblings.
