MORRIS -- Warren Ralph Edward Hood, 81, of Morris died Wednesday at Merit Care Hospital in Fargo, N.D.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Morris. Burial will be at Summit Cemetery in Morris.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

He was born Aug. 15, 1925, in Scott Township, rural Alberta, to Edward and Sarah (Weaver) Hood. He grew up in Swan Lake Township and graduated from School District 10. After he finished school, he farmed.
He married Martha Oberg on Sept. 3, 1948, in Morris. They moved to Morris. He worked for Smiths Cab Company, Eames Distributing and Kollorens Mobile Service. He worked for the Morris Co-op from 1950 to 1960. He worked for the city of Morris Police Department and also served as civil defense director. He retired from the Police Department in 1987. He then worked for the Stevens County Sheriff's Department until 1997.
He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Morris.
He is survived by his wife; daughters: Marleen (and Herb) Nelson of Donnelly, Avis Johnson of Dalton; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister: Fern Bristor of Crystal.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
