WILLMAR -- Three-pointers flew frequently in the first half, but Ridgewater couldn't keep up with MSCTC-Fergus Falls in the second half, losing a MCCC Southern Division men's basketball game 76-66 Wednesday.
The Spartans launched treys early and often in the first minutes of the game and Ridgewater did likewise. Fergus Falls made six of their first eight attempts and the Warriors added two more.
The teams finished the half with a combined 13 of 28 from behind the arc with the Spartans sinking 44 percent (7 of 16) and the Warriors 50 percent (6 of 12). Ridgewater trailed 39-38 at the break.
In the second half, Fergus Falls warmed up a little more from the field while the Warriors did not.
The teams turned their collective attentions inside the arc, making only three 3-pointers.

Allen Huselid and Travis Schultz scored 12 points each to lead the Warriors. David Johnson added 11 points and seven rebounds.
