BRAINERD - A 38-year-old Watkins woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash reported around 2 p.m. Sunday along State Highway 64, just south of Leader in Cass County.
According to the State Patrol, Jackie Boulton was a passenger in a 1997 Ford Ranger pickup driven by Michael Boulton, 35, of Watkins. The pickup was struck head-on by a 2005 Ford pickup driven by Jeffrey Grose, 43, of Shoreview, near mile post 13 on Highway 64.
Grose’s vehicle also struck a 2011 Chevy pickup driven by Daron Butzlaff, 48, of St. Cloud. Butzlaff and his passenger, David Butzlaff, 40, of Clearwater, were not injured.
Grose’s injury status was not documented. He was taken to the Lakewood Hospital in Staples.
Michael Boulton sustained a serious injury and was also taken to Lakewood Hospital.

Also responding to the crash were the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and the Pillager Police Department.
