Watkins woman seriously injured Tuesday morning in Meeker County crash

According to the release, Madison Guza, 18, was driving south on County Road 2 when she left a frost covered roadway in Forest City Township, hit an approach and struck a tree.

LITCHFIELD — A Watkins woman was injured Tuesday morning after her vehicle struck a tree on the 32000 block of Meeker County Road 2 outside Forest City, according to a news release from the Meeker County Sheriff's Office.

According to the release, Madison Guza, 18, was driving south on County Road 2 when she left a frost-covered roadway in Forest City Township, hit an approach and struck a tree.

She was airlifted to CentraCare — St. Cloud Hospital by LifeLink helicopter with serious injuries.

The Litchfield Fire Department, Rescue and Mayo Ambulance also responded to the incident reported at 9:06 a.m. Tuesday.
