WILLMAR -- The National Weather Service in Chanhassen this morning issued a hazardous weather outlook for portions of central and southern Minnesota, including the counties of Chippewa, Douglas, Kandiyohi, McLeod, Meeker, Pope, Renville, Stearns and Swift and including the cities of Alexandria, Benson, Hutchinson, Montevideo and Willmar.
The Weather Service says areas of light freezing rain, freezing drizzle and snow will continue over parts of central Minnesota. Another area of freezing drizzle and flurries will move across central Minnesota from near Willmar to Glenwood.
The Weather Service urges motorists to use caution this morning.
