The weather was kinder Saturday evening than the night before, as once again hundreds of well-wishers came out to watch and applaud high school students during prom.
On Saturday, students from the New London-Spicer, ACGC, KMS, Montevideo and Yellow Medicine high schools celebrated their proms.
Also, members of the Kandiyohi County Arc held their spring dance at the Willmar High School, where the festive decorations remained from the previous night's "A walk to remember" prom. National Honor Society students from the school volunteered their time to help host the dance for the guests.
The prom themes on Saturday were all about celebrating. The surprise theme at KMS proved to be "Sea of Love.'' Students at ACGC celebrated ''Las Vegas nights'' while "Tropical Twist'' was the theme for the special night at NLS.
