WILLMAR -- Roads in west central Minnesota are snow-covered and slippery and many schools in the region are delaying classes by two hours Monday morning as a snowy cold-front moves through the state.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation's travel map indicates roads around Willmar, Litchfield, Olivia and Benson are completely covered with blowing snow, resulting in slippery conditions. Some roads are plowed.

So far there haven't been any weather-related crashes reported..

The area is under a winter weather advisory until 9 a.m. with areas of blowing snow predicted. According to the National Weather Service, sind gusts of 35 mph are expected resulting with wind chill values as low as minus 17 degrees.

More cold temperatures rolls in Tuesday and Wednesday with high temperatures barely reaching zero.
