CLARKFIELD -- Wendy D. Hofmann, 53, of Clarkfield died Monday at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dawson, after an 8½ year battle with cancer.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Clarkfield Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Boyd.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at Lynner Funeral Home in Clarkfield, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
She was born Jan. 19, 1952, in Clarkfield to Leo and Gloria (Feist) Olson. She graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1971. She attended Willmar Area Vocational Technical School.

She married Gary Hofmann on Sept. 1, 1973, in Clarkfield. She worked at Yellow Medicine East Schools.
She was a member of Clarkfield Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school.
She is survived by her husband; daughter: Josie of Clarkfield; her father of Clarkfield; and siblings: Ginger (and Peter) Thomsen of Lake Crystal and Gary Olson of Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
