Heidi Rae Werner and Jared Allan Peterson, both of Brookings, S.D., are engaged to be married Feb. 14 at Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar.

She graduated from Willmar Senior High School in 2004 and from South Dakota State University in Brookings in 2008. She is employed as a business analyst by Fishback Financial Corporation.
Peterson is the son of Harry and Paulette Peterson of Willmar.
He graduated from Willmar Senior High School in 2004 and expects to graduate in May from South Dakota State University with a mechanical engineering degree. He is employed by 3M.
