BELGRADE -- Willard Dewayne 'Bill' Jensen, 84, of Belgrade died Thursday at the Belgrade Nursing Home.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hope Presbyterian Church in Spicer. Private family burial will be at Colfax Cemetery, rural New London.
Arrangements are with the West Central Cremation Service.
He was born on March 30, 1924, in Kandiyohi County to Dusenuas and Julia (Erickson) Jensen. He grew up in rural New London and graduated in 1942 from Belgrade High School.
He married Barbara Gould on June 30, 1956, in Paynesville. They lived in Duluth. In 1960 they moved to rural Belgrade. He worked for Goodall Body and Fender for many years. Then they operated a floor covering business for 35 years, retired in 1991 and built a log home.

He was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church where he was an elder and was on two different building committees.
He is survived by his wife; children: Michael Jensen (and fiancée Pat) of Sartell, and Marie (and Les) Skinner of Columbia Falls, Mont.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister: Gloria Monson of Spicer.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
