LAKE LILLIAN -- William A. Brunner, 75, of Bird Island, formerly of Lake Lillian, died Friday at the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Lake Lillian. Burial will be at the Community Cemetery in Lake Lillian.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at K-M Funeral Home in Lake Lillian, with a prayer service at 6 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
He was born April 4, 1931, in Duluth to Frank and Hilda (Christianson) Brunner. He grew up in Lake Lillian and attended Bird Island High School. He served in the U.S. Army for three years and was a gunner during the Korean War.

He lived in Minneapolis and worked for Honeywell for many years. He moved to Lake Lillian and operated the Amoco Station for several years and later retired to Bird Island. He moved to the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center this past week.
He is survived by his siblings: Doris Huebsch of Lake Lillian, Don (and Mary) Brunner of Fridley, Frank (and Vi) Brunner of Coon Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
