CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. -- William "Bill" R. Anderson, 68, of Crystal Lake died Monday at Centegra Hospital in McHenry, Ill.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Holy Apostles in McHenry.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Colonial Funeral Home in McHenry and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was born June 13, 1940, in Willmar to Carlton and Elaine (Daugherty) Anderson.
He married Bonnie M. Crumb on Oct. 29, 1966, in Phoenix. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters: Lynn (and Ned) Reckamp of Crystal Lake and Kelly (and Dirk) Stanger of Lakewood, Ill.; eight grandchildren; siblings: Barry Anderson of Phoenix, Bob Anderson of Prescott, Ariz., and Meme (and Kenny) Heflin of Paxson, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Katie Anderson; and two brothers.
