FULLERTON, Neb. -- William 'Bill' Sisco, 81, of Fullerton, Neb., formerly of Benson and Olivia, died Thursday at Midlands Hospital in Papillion, Neb.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Palmer Funeral Home in Fullerton. Burial will be at the Fullerton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

He was born July 28, 1924, in Woodworth, N.D., to Levi H. and Margaret M. (Wescom) Sisco. He grew up and attended school in the Woodworth area.

He married Lois Nord on Dec. 17, 1942. They farmed on the Sisco home place near Kintyre, N.D., and later farmed near Steele, N.D. They moved in the early 1960s to Benson where he worked for Long Bluegrass Company. They moved to Olivia where he worked for Rauenhorst Feed Lots for several years. He sold seed corn for Trojan, RBA and Stauffer. He moved to Nebraska in the 1970s and continued in the seed corn business.

He married Bonnie Stouffer on Feb. 6, 1980. They lived in Grand Island and St. Paul. Bonnie died in 2001. He moved to Fullerton in 2002 and worked in seed corn sales.

He is survived by his daughter: Darla (and Silas) Hatlestad of Sunburg; three stepdaughters: Barb (and Steve) Foster of Omaha, Kate (and Jim) Evers of Fullerton, Peggy (and Bob) Huff of Omaha; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother: Kenneth Sisco of Bismarck, N.D.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; son: William R. Sisco Jr.; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one sister.
