WILLMAR -- William Pemble "Bill" Anderson, 82, of Willmar, died Thursday at Infinia Care Center in Willmar.

The service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar. Burial will be at Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.

He was born June 1, 1924, in Willmar to Miner and Bertha (Pemble) Anderson. He grew up in Willmar, attended Goldenrod School, and graduated from Willmar High School in 1942. He attended watchmaker's school in Kansas City. He returned to Willmar and opened a watch and jewelry store.

He married Ruth Lunderby on May 21, 1948, in Litchfield. They lived in the Willmar area. He later owned and operated Bill's Gun Shop in Willmar until he retired in the early 1970s.

He was a member of Vinje Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the rifle and trap ranges and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by six nephews and one niece: Chuck (and Carol) Bredeson of Willmar, Jerry (and Gwyn) Bredeson of Falkville, Ala., Bill (and Bobbi) Bredeson of Naples, Fla., Dave (and Evon) Bredeson of Brooklyn Park, Kevin (and Wendy) Anderson of Cary, N.C., John (and Mari) Anderson of Willmar, and Mary Beth (and Gene) Torrey of Plymouth.

He was preceded in death by his wife on Oct. 31; two brothers, one sister and one nephew.
