Willmar administrator finalists chosen

WILLMAR – The Willmar City Council has decided on their top five finalists for the city’s next administrator.

The five finalists are Isaac Holland, Darcy Long, Christopher McDonell, Evelyn Racette and Greg Sund.

Holland is currently the city administrator in Chillicothe, Missouri, having held the position since August 2011.

Long is the city administrator and zoning administrator in Amery, Wisconsin. He started there in July 2008.

McDonell has served as the assistant city manager of Whitewater, Wisconsin since November 2013.

Racette most recent position was as town manager for Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona, a job she held from October 2014 to April 2016.

Sund is currently the public works director in Hays, Kansas. He also served as the first county administrator for Ellis County in Kansas from 2010 to 2015.

All five finalists have agreed to an interview. The interview process will take place Feb. 15 and Feb. 16 in Willmar.
