Willmar's Erik Borgos at 103 pounds, Brandt Haglund at 125 and Jesse Alonzo at 140 all advanced to the semifinals after the first day at the Section 2AA Individual Tournament Friday in Prior Lake.
The other nine Willmar wrestlers (the Cardinals have two open weights) remained alive and will compete in wrestlebacks today.
