FROM THE COACH

Brad Haugen: "We are double in numbers from a year ago. Some have never skied before, but they have the athletic ability to become good skiers. The boys seem strongest based on who is back. Our goal is teamwork. Each and every individual on the team must help their teammate reach their full potential. I want this to be one of the best experiences they have in high school. They should know that if they try their hardest, good things will happen. We've lacked snow all pre-season, but dry land training has gone well.  Of course, no one likes it as well as snow. We are running, in-line skating, Polymetrics, along with practicing classical and skate techniques.  We have viewed videos on dry land training, a big help to the newcomers that are on the team this year."
