Willmar City Council to meet Monday evening

WILLMAR - The Willmar City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the council chambers in the Willmar Municipal Utilities building at 700 Litchfield Ave. S.W.
The council will hear presentations on a comprehensive plan for the city’s park system and on Minnesota Severe Weather Awareness Week.
The board will also consider a report on preservation and maintenance issues at the historic City Auditorium, built in the 1930s by workers for the Works Progress Administration.
The council provides an open forum for the public to make comments at each meeting.
The council meeting is shown live on cable public access channel 18 and will be recorded for later showings.
