Willmar City Council to select administrator finalists Monday

WILLMAR - The Willmar City Council will meet at 5 p.m. Monday in the chambers at the Municipal Utilities Building, 700 Litchfield Ave. S.W., to review and select finalists to be interviewed for the city administrator position.
The council will meet with Gary Weirs of David Drown and Associates. Drown is the consultant assisting the council in selecting a new administrator. City Clerk Kevin Halliday has been serving as interim administrator after the city and former administrator Charlene Stevens agreed to a “separation of employment” in March and she left the post.
The regular council meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
The council will take public comments during the open forum, and will receive reports from the Public Works/Safety Committee and the Labor Relations Committee.
