The Willmar Cardinals girls basketball team (5-4, 8-7) can win their fifth straight Central Lakes Conference game tonight when they play host to Sartell (3-6, 7-8) at the high school gymnasium.
Willmar is 4-0 against CLC competition during January. At the halfway point, the conference race remains wide open with St. Cloud Tech and Fergus Falls tied for first, each 7-2, and four teams -- including the Cardinals -- within two games.
Willmar won at Sartell 48-44 on Dec. 1.
